In 2000 RSB Engineers was set up under the able leadership and vision of Sirdar Harbans Singh Bhogal with a forward looking direction and a brand new manufacturing unit in the industrial focal point in the north Indian city of Jullundur. Deploying ultra modern business and manufacturing processes RSB continues to progress as a strong family run business with a great engineering heritage.
With an addition of an Electrotherm 125KW electrical induction melting furnace, RSB is now able to cast high quality ductile iron castings from as small as 100 grams in mass and a 3mm cross section.
1960 was the year it all started.
Sirdar Kartar Singh Bhogal of village Dolike Sunderpur had a vision of establishing a family run engineering business since his youth during the days of the British Raj.
It was his five sons that enabled him to fulfill that vision by working hard in Africa; purchasing a ten acre site in Jullundur where the first factory was setup under the name of KS Bhogal Engineering Works.
This factory was set-up as a state-of-the-art unit, with every machine powered by its’ own electrical motor, unlike the typical obsolete centrally engine powered norm of the time.
In 1979 Sirdar Resham Singh
Bhogal took the lead in the
family business along with his
father and elevated the business
to new heights, the firm now became
KS Bhogal Industries.
Further modernisation with the setup of an oil fired rotary melting furnace of 300Kgs capacity and building of an annealing furnace to enable production of high quality malleable cast iron.
1987 was the year when an
additional unit was created as
HB Steel Industries under the management of Sirdar Harbans Singh Bhogal.
It was crucial in making vital inroads into the macro markets in the rapidly growing rural and semi-urban sectors. After enabling more modern technologies in production techniques HB Steel was later merged in 2000.
In 2020 RSB went back to its roots to re-imagine the family firm as RSB Engineering Works Limited.
