Today we at RSB specialise in general engineering castings ranging from just a 100Gms to 500Kgs in bout grey cast iron as well as Ductile SG Iron.
On demand we are also well experienced to produce wear and abrasion resistant cast irons e.g. Martensitic white cast irons and High chromium cast iron.
Having started production of cast iron in 1960 with a coal fired furnace with a daily production capacity of only 80 Kgs today we are proud to be operating a state-of-the-art high frequency electrical induction melting furnace manufactured by Electrotherm.
It's unique dual-crucible design allows for non-stop conitnuous round-the-clock melting as when it is time to repair and relign one crucible with refractory ceramics the other crucible is ready and goes into operation immediately.
This ensures uninterrupted melting operations and allows us to utilise economies of scale at a completely different level.
With a dedicated team of moulders, foundry melting engineers, and ready access to spectrometer metallurgical and chemical analysis,
we are able to cast consisted high quality British standards and ISO compliant cast iron and Ductile iron melt after melt with great efficiency and reliability.
We are able to cast high quality Spehroidal Graphite iron items that conform completely with British standards such as
BS 400/18
BS 420/12
BS 450/10
BS 500/7
BS 600/3
BS 700/2
and various other Indian and ISO standards.
As well as Graded Cast iron conforming to various British standards such as
BS1452:1990 N/mm2
180
220
250
300
All standards are chekced and ensured batch by batch and each batch is serialised with unique identifiers for full traceability.
